Well, for those of you thinking of running dual carbs, I have some good news.  My friend went out and bought a new set of kadrons over the weekend and installed them on his AS Ghia.  With a small modification to one of them, it all went smoothly.

He tapped the main vac between the two carbs for the big vac hose to the control valve.  For the smaller hose, he located a spot on the side that would fit a brass port and drilled through the body into the venturi.  He only did one side instead of T-ing the two together.  It's working quite well that way, and he only needed to adjust the control valve a little to smooth the shifting out.

Cobey,
I have no idea what a KG's engine bay is like. Any relocating needed on the control valve? Short or tall manifolds? Ye Olde Skool Kads or aftermarket clones?

Got any hot 'n' nasty pics??? :P

The control valve did need to move over a bit for the air cleaners to clear.

The lid hinges should have cleared as well, but for some reason the one on the driver's side hits the top of the air cleaners.  I "thought" the Ghia bay would have the hinges and motor centered, but apparently not.  Or, perhaps, when the car got smacked around earlier in life, some things shifted causing this.

I'll have to check on the manifolds.  I think they are the short ones.  The ones he installed are the aftermarket models, but with the SCAT linkage.  I'll grab some pics too.  :)
